Looks like this event has already taken place.

,

125 W Davie St, Anna, IL 62906

Paint the town is a family affair. Come join the crowd in painting a square from 10 am to 3 pm at the Anna Arts center located at 125 W Davie Street, Anna, Illinois. Everyone is invited to come and paint your hearts out.

The Shawnee Hills Arts Council/Anna Arts Center invites everyone to come transform the parking lot into an outdoor canvas. The parking lot will be divided into 4 by 4 foot squares for individuals, families, or friends to paint. Scout troops, church groups, grandparents, and parents this is a good time for you to have some fun with the kids. To get the creative juices flowing, there will be a bounce house, music and food. Participants can register to paint a masterpiece alone or with their family or friends for a modest registration fee of $10

Participants receive an assigned 4 foot by 4 foot square, and a bag containing all the supplies needed to paint: red, yellow, blue, black and white, one narrow brush for lining and one wide brush for filling, chalk for sketching, cups, stirrers and instructions for mixing colors. There will only be 100 squares to paint, so grab your kids and your grand-kids, and come enjoy the painting, the bounce house, the music, and great food. If it rains, the squares will be on the floor of the Center Stage Gallery building of the Anna Arts Center. Rain or Shine the event will go on!
